"Blue Brocade" Jumpsuit / Macacão
O macacão "Blue Brocade" é de cor azul marinho, decorado com 7 cm de largura de bordados em torno da abertura no peito e no colarinho alto. O padrão consiste em pequenas flores e folhas azuis interligadas com pontinhos dourados e linhas. O padrão fez alguém acreditar que supostamente representava cobras entrelaçadas em torno das flores azuis, mas não é esse o caso. Em cada lado das mangas, existem três botões de punho azuis.
"Blue Brocade" is an aqua-colored suit decorated with 3 inches wide embroideries around the chest opening and the high collar. Pattern consisting of tiny aqua flowers and tiny leaves entwined with golden dots and lines around them. The pattern has made someone believe it's supposed to represent snakes twined around the aqua flowers, which is not the case. On each side of the sleeves, there are three aqua-colored cuff buttons.
O cinto, atado do lado esquerdo, é tecido em macramé num padrão em forma de arco com o que parecem ser pequenas pedras azuis que faz com que pareceçam existir pequenos olhos no meio do padrão.
The belt, tied to the left, is weaved macramé in a bow pattern with what appears to be small, blue stones making it look like small eyes in the mieddle of the pattern.
Elvis usou o "Blue Brocade" - "Blue Tapestry", "Blue Aqua" ou "Blue Snake", como por vezes também é chamado - em Las Vegas durante a segunda temporada (janeiro - fevereiro de 1970) e talvez pela última vez em Houston, em 28 de fevereiro de 1970, no concerto das 14h00. Este maravilhoso macacão está em exposição em Graceland. O cinto branco em macramé foi vendido em leilão em 7 de outubro de 1995 e está hoje em mãos particulares.
Elvis wore "Blue Brocade" suit - "Blue Tapestry", "Blue Aqua" or "Blue Snake", as it was called as well - in Las Vegas in the second season (January - February 1970) and maybe for the last time in Houston February 28th 1970 at the 02:00 p.m. show. This wonderful suit is on display at Graceland. The white macramé belt was sold on auction October 7th 1995, and is today in private hands.
